The curious case of Benjamin Buttons. A 2 hour and 43 mins long

Review:

Meaningful movie and touching. What if you were born backwards? From the start, you looked like an old  guy/lady. And as you grew, you became younger and younger. And when you reach the middle age,you looked exactly the age of it. The age where you stand between life and death.

When Benjamin first came on Earth, his father disowned him and was raised by a lady. He had to accept the sufferings of being an wrinkled old baby. As he grew, he suffered from old age. He couldn’t walk without clutches, his body was weak, his face was wrinkled, etc and had to depend on wheelchair. During that time, he met with alot people who thought him about life and had experienced  close-to-death incidents,to-try experiment , etc.

As time pass, he became in his mid-thirties. That was the most memorable he can recalled of. Everything seems so wonderful. His looks, his life, his love life were so perfect. How time can stop at that moment. But then, he had to face the fact he is becoming younger and younger each day until he dies. He had a child with his wife and he knew he couldn’t possibly raise it with her cos of his condition. He left her with his child and he wandered off alone.

And at last, as years past, he changes  from a dashing looking middle age man to a mischievous teenager, to a naughty child ,to a have-to-train-to-talk toddler ,and in the end to a cute baby where he dies peacefully under the hands of his wife who took care of him from the day he became teenager. Awww~this part i cried hard.

All this came to a stop.  How life has ended for Benjamin Buttons.

Omg. I finally saw them in real person and they shook my hands.

Reached East Point Mall around 8 plus, and i waited for my new-made friends that time in the airport. Okay, i finally found people that likes S.H.E as much as i do. Such a rare opportunity and we met out for this event.=) great.

By the time i reached there, the queue was already very long until it is outside the shopping mall. Mad people had started camping yesterday lo, think i dont know. But i am not as crazy as them lo. LOl.=x So went queue with the line from 9am plus to 2 plus where S.H.E came.=)) At least not like the Jiro & Rainie de autograph, late till 1 and a half hour then come. bu shuang.

That waiting period  was hell, hot scorching sun shining, with limited winds blowing.-.- It was as if that if you pour water on your hand, a “psssst..” sound will be heard. Yes, it was that hot. Lucky, one of my friend, Shannon bought umbrella, or else heat stroke.lol. And to prevent from getting it, my another friend, Vanessa suggest that we go walk walk inside the mall to cool ourselves at different times.lol. Sometimes, its good to have a accompany. haha.

Okay, and so 2 plus, they came. But i cant see anything from outside.ROARS. Pathetic. hear their voices also not clear, and they are sitting down on sofas. WAH. sian-est of all. Cant see full person, cant hear them talk, cant hear them sing, cant everything la.=.= damn it. and still at outside, standing on yellow barriers trying to catch a glimpse of them or even capture their pics wor which is.. UNCLEAR. and i am so jealous of Shannon’s SLR?DSLR?Powershot camera! From far, she just zoom and she can capture any pic clearly until the face features can be seen. ROAR. So jealous. i so wanna buy! IT FAIR! but hmmm. $$$$$.

before reaching the stage, i was damn nervous lo. lol. first time mah.

when reached, each of them signed, smiled, said thanks lo.I was intending to say hello or what de lo, but then ps.lol. So i pass by from SELINA to ELLA and to HEBE.

Initially, i used right hand to shake SELINA hand as she was using her left hand to sign, then when reached ELLA, i found out that ELLA uses her left hand to sign and right hand to shake. I suddenly nervous until dont know how to change hand wor, then she took initiative to use her left hand to shake and sign using her  right hand.lols. Then i say opps..sry and she smile back, said thanks and i nod and smile. Lol~~Next, when reach HEBE side, she signed le, smiled and said xie xie, i nod head,smile and say xiexie. dont know she got hear anot.lol. =)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) WILL FOREVER REMEMBER THAT DAY.21/02/09 East Point Mall. lols..

Some people quite mad. From 1030am got people queue le , just to get their posters and autographs.=.= Actually, i not very fond of those actors la. just see see only la. And we stood from 4 plus to 8.30 plus lor.=.= wth. say 7pm , late for 1 and a half hour! big cards!.-.-

Worth the wait?NO.They talked about 15 minutes only and starting signing for the 250 people who came in the early morning. And after that, went off.

The end. Pity those who waited for them since morning.-.-

Yesterday, went Kbox at Suntec! Finally, after such a long waitttttt.Suntec kbox is really slacked or is it because weekdays? we sang till 7.20pm plus, still never rush us. NOT in marina square! exactly 5 pm must book out.-.-  barely 3 hours only.

AND, forgot to mention , I DROPPED MY STYLUS ON THE GAPS OF THE ESCALATOR. DAMN @#$%^&*!!!!!!  the most unjust i feel about it,GAPS ON THE ESCALATOR ! shit it damn it. argh! #$%^&* lucky i still got  extra stylus.

And i sang my 陈绮贞 songs except for one 莫文蔚-如果没有你.  Hahaha. nice nice nice.=))))))))))))))))

And after that,we tried out Shisha aka Hookah at Haji lane. lol. random. Joys never join us as she was meeting her friends. So that was the first experience, it is like smoking but this this time round is smoking fragrance out.lol. And you have to suck the air from the jar and blow out.total cost is $25 and we shared among ourselves. cheap.

At first, i tried to suck and blow, nothing came out, no smoke lo.-.- then i found out that i have to suck until got bubbles then let go and blow. And there, the fragrance came out. hmm.

rare experience. but its bad for heath.=.= it is as good as smoking tobacco. thanks to Adeline bf who showed us the wiki. One time enough le.lol

I came over a blog which the person, i think had translated the whole chinese version of 陈奇贞(Cheer Chen )- 旅行的意義 lyrics to an english version. As i read over the lyrics, all seems so meaningful.The way she expressed herself. And while she is writing this song, she went on travel all by her own.

宇萱 and 宇薇 are back! both of them slept together. i carried them, and oh, their head, their eyes, their nose, their mouth, their ears, their hands, their legs are cute. They cry for milk, they cry for warmth.  Life is amazing uh. 9 months in the womb and tada.

and yuyan knows how to call 宇薇!lol. knows what is meimei.  knows hows to sayang meimei. knows how to hug meimei. knows how to kiss meimei. knows how to ask her mama come when meimeis cry.lol.so cute can.

Today whole day at my sis house, help take care yuyan and the babies.wah, today whole day super tiring! yuyan keep run up and down, touching every curious things she saw, be amazed at unknown things and smile/laugh whatever she thought was funny.

And i thought, how carefree, the age of toddlers. No troubles, nothing to worry, nothing to stress. Living a carefree life, not bothering the outside world, living the world of their own. How i wished life were like that. And if there is a time machine, would myself know that i am leading a carefree life back then?

Soon, both 宇萱 and 宇薇  and will grow and they will soon reach 1 year old, so on and forth. Eventually, the three of them will grow up and the life cycle continues.lols. wow. a phase.

Went visit my sis today. wahahha. managed to see yuwei only.-.- And i was allowed to carry her!

After that, ask bro-in-law to drop me at interchange cos i so wanna eat kfc.lol. Sudden craving and i found out that i cant finish the zinger.-.-

As i ate, i look around the surroundings,i saw secondary students queuing for food, saw them chatting among themselves, re-doll themselves. Saw parents bringing their child to enjoy a meal. Saw couples eating together. Saw staffs chatting with each other.Saw working adults buying food.

i recalled the time in sec school where the clique dined here after school, and i always ordered the same thing as i ate today. haha. Over the years, KFC had also changed. How time past.

Looking around the surroundings make me feel that life is beautiful.lol? The usual people are sure to be there, students,parents, child, etc. I dont know how to put it.

Sometimes, its good to sit down alone and look around the surroundings. Love today experience. free.

$16 and got a pair of tickets to see this movie. cool right.lol

I read the book already. It has only pathetic 35 pages.-.- And 2 other stories.35 pages can make up a movie.lol.

A story about a child who was born as an old man and  lived his live backwards.So it was like he looked 70 years old when he was first born, and when as time passes, he became younger and younger like a baby and in the end dies. Interesting plotline but boring somehow?

I think there will be a slight difference between the book itself and the movie.Hmm, to watch or not to watch?

inkheart review:

hmm. overall, a fairytale story whereby a person can read out the characters in the book out.lol. I wonder why the book name is called Inkheart. doesnt seems to caught any attention, and not really special. It is like the night of the museum whereby the character came out of life. But in this sense, the starting part was abit boring until the middle part. happy ending as always. The bad went in yet again and the good reunite once again.

hmmmm..movie okay lar. 3.5 rating maybe?
