job

Oh yes.

After for 2 long months, i finally got a job and am starting on 1st Sept, this coming wednesday!

Sent in many resumes, gone for many interviews and finally one job landed on me. Haha

To be happy ?

YES. Money had been draining out since last few months. And now with a job , that means income! :)

Money money money!

But somehow, sian.

Don’t know why when you can’t find any job, you hate yourself staying at home most of the days sending resumes and waiting for replies or calls.You wished those people will call you up and offer you a job offer, ask you come down for interview etc and eventually land you with a job.

No work + No money + Stay at home whole day sending resumes and wait for calls = NO LIFE.

But now , as you got the job, you felt that it came too soon, you wished you wouldn’t have to start work that early. Starting work means stress, no more rests, no more “holidays” etc.

So now there’s only one thing that makes me going. And that is money.

Money = Happy :D

In this realistic world, money is a must have. No money? Come’on! How to get on with life?

Jogging

Guess what!

I’ve been jogging these past 2 days! Ever since last jogged in Secondary School. lol

 

Hope i can still hold on to this!

But i’m having muscles cramps. –.-

Step up 3, YOG

Ate lunch at Barcelos last week, Vivo. Didn’t know the food served are all grilled. And was kinda surprised the portion was just nice for me. haha

Very nice dance movie! All those dance moves was wow. Am sure that sisi watching it , must be damn enthusiastic to learn her korean pop dance. Right right? hahaha.

Went coffee bean and have a quick bite. The cake damn nice and yes, think is better than starbucks. Thanks for treating!

 

YOG Table Tennis Semi-Finals 2010

Long ago, bought the tickets and it came with a preloaded ez link card, meaning one day of free use of bus/train rides. After the next day,  it can be served as an ezlink card. Reached there early and rushed back for grandma funeral.

 

Was kinda nice to see live action and from Singapore team. Other than that, hmm.. wasnt much difference seeing from tv.

Bought packet lunch there and it cost freaking $5 each……-.-

After the whole match, went to have starbucks before heading back.

 

So yep.:)

Can’t wait for your field camp to be over. Must be damn sian for you. zzz. I’ m gonna miss talking to you at night. :(

Grandma passed away peacefully this morning.

As i prayed to her at the funeral just now, I felt a tinge of sadness and tears formed in my eyes.

She was 96.

Every Chinese year, my whole family and other relatives would go her house for visiting. Though only once a year, I always loved and enjoyed going to her house, bonding with her and the other relatives. It was the only time where all of us could bond together as a family.

Over the years, she has become skinnier, her hair grown to an aging grey and her wrinkly skin sagged under her skinny bone.

Due to her age, she sometimes couldn’t remember who we are. But as soon as we tell her we are who and who daughter/son, she will nod, smile at us and ask us how we are doing. We will smiled back at her cute asking expression.

And today, she left us.:(

Last airbender, Prawning

Ate billy bombers again, at bugis. lol. This time, made use of a $20 voucher.

Ordered root beer and he was happily sipping it, kept commenting very nice. hahaha. so cute.

      

Tried the roast chicken while he tried the burger.

  

By the time we eat finished, it was already 2 plus and couldn’t decide whether to watch The Last Airbender, as there might be bad seats left for us since its already so late.

So what do you do when you really want to check the movie timings and seating but you have no any iphone or any wifi mobile devices?

1) Dont watch?

2) Travel to Cine and see whether there are seats and decide?

Answer?

my answer: none and…

GO TO APPLE STORE and use their macbook to check!hahah.

And what to do when they had disconnected the internet which disables you to use?

1) leave to fate. really don’t watch.

2) Travel to Cine and see whether there are seats and decide again?

Answer: USE THEIR IPHONE 3GS OR IPHONE 4. Definitely have INTERNET CONNECTION.

I think i am smart. lol. HAHA. –.-

The Last Airbender;

After that, we went down and did tatoos.Real ones okay. lol.  yeaaaaaa. right.

 

After that, travelled to Marina Bay for prawning! Took bus 400 and we ended up in Marina Barrage –.-

Was not a bad thing after all, can cross out Marina Barrage till next time. haha.

There weren’t any much things to do except to fly kite, picnic around the grass.. etc and we did none of the above. All we do was enjoy the scenery, get fascinated by high flying kites and see the fountain?

So it was a wrong destination and  we took a cab to the prawning place, 6 Marina Green.

Turns out the prawning farm i researched on had closed down since a long time ago and a construction site is all we could see.

So guilty and sorry, didn’t research enough and wasted the cab fare.  Zzzz.  Luckily, the cab driver was kind enough to charge  cheaper.

Lesson of the day: Don’t trust forum threads too much and check out the date posted.

In the end, we went Yio Chu Kang for another prawning farm, Bottle tree park.

It was already 8 plus by then when we reached.Settled dinner at there Botoru ki Japanese Restaurant & Bar.

Tried peas! So it wasn’t that bad as i thought. Instead, i find it nice.. Don’t know why, all tasted quite good.:D Thanks for the treat! And i am still upset that i dropped the ice cream mochi? :(

         

Rent 1 rod for $14.50 for 1 hour. Initially wanted to rent 2 rods, but turns out they don[t accept nets and we were short of money. argh. wasted. So we split half hr / half hr.

And for the first half an hour, Eugene didnt managed to catch a single prawn. hahah.

And for the next half an hour, i caught 2 prawns immediately as soon i put the rod into the water. HAHA.

Don’t sad don’t sad, there is still next time okay! We shall compete next time, and next time , there shall be 2 different rods. I was probably in luck this time round! So yep. Or maybe i just have the SKILLS? hahaha.=p

He helped me took out the prawns from the bait which i think is rather cool. I thought he will shockingly stand there and ask me what should he do. lol. (Y)

 15/09/10

Went his house in early morning and his family treat me to lunch at some restaurant.

One funny incident happened. hahaha. Eugene, me and one of his auntie went to the wrong restaurant and settled down, began ordered food while waiting for the others.

It was until when his another auntie came up, then we realized we went to the wrong restaurant. The others were waiting at another restaurant. And by then , we already ordered some dim sum, and luckily only dim sum. hahahaha. SO FUNNY.

Ate this and that!Very nice.Thanks for the treat by your grandma! :D

    

After that, accompany Eugene and his mother to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for some check ups. And then his home sweet home:)

Saturdayyyyyyy! Can’t wait again!

So that day was our Sixth:D

He booked out on a Friday night and went my house to fetch me and off we went to Tampines Mall, the place where holds memories for both of us.  Haha.

Had some quick bites in Swensens. Didn’t tried their apple crumble ice cream before. Tasted not bad, but as what Eugene said, the apple tasted somewhat bitter so minus points. lol.

  Bought him his long awaited book and hid it inside his army bag. HAHA. Hope you like it!

 

 

07/08/10 Basic Theory Test

Woke up early in the morning to take BTT and went with Eugene.Thanks for accompany me go there despite the little hours of sleep. Appreciated much:)

AND AND AND..

THE RESULT??

I PASSSSSSSSSSED! YES, FINALLY!

 

Before that, was not feeling very confident of passing as i did not take the E-Trial.

Many people were telling me i should just take the E-Trial in order to pass. While on the other side, Eugene mentioned that i should not waste that money.

So in the end, i passed without the E-Trial! Happy!

All smiles when i saw the GREEN with the word PASS.

Okay okay, i know its just a BTT, not even FTT, not even practical blah blah blah right.

But still, i passed!:D Definitely worth to be happy about, and without the E-Trial! :D

 

Salt;

Went Dhoby Ghaut and have lunch at Astons.

And ever since, zhen mentioned to us about the passion card offers, we have been going in for Cathy cinemas every now and then. Haha. Thanks for the intro! Saves us alot.

Its national day!

Morning went to Jurong Point and met up with Eugene mum , auntie and his cousin. Nice outing with them.

Ate Billy Bombers and later managed to share cab back to his house with 5 people. lol.

  

At night, his auntie cooked alot, chilli crabs, black pepper crab, stingray, mantou etc etc. Omg. Super niceee.

Went his house and see him play Silent Hill and later accompany him to Pasir Ris :(

 

Nevertheless, still love spending weekends with you!:D
