Guitar again!

Today had database module and installed new program called Oracle. Spent alot of time installing and that dragged till the 2nd meeting. Luckily, the problem today was easy, not using alot of brain juices. Haha.

Went back home and practice guitar. I wonder how long i will take to learn the chords and strum it nicely without looking. Really admire those who can sing and strum the guitar well. Its really cool lar.

Yar, cool is cool. Thinking of the people that were once learning the basics like me now. It's tough to cope with the sickening chords and the impact of pressing the strings tightly. =( It is pain like hell. But what to do? You know by practicing then you can improve right? Haha. And to motivate myself, i listen to 徐佳莹 songs to boost up my motivation level.LOl. It really helps. Bro encourage me to see and listen youtube videos. Haha. i shall do that!

Determination,perseverance!

Learning how to play guitar today. Hahaha. Browse through the internet for basic tutorials like using different chords. After learning the basics, move on to try playing my favourite songs and sing. Haha.

Got really inspired by a girl called 徐佳莹 from 星光大道. She's so talented! Can compose songs,can play guitar and sings well! If you got see, you sure know.The song i put inside my blog is she sing and compose one. Nice?Lol

Not trying be like her, but just trying to learn new skills. Haha. Imagine can play guitar and sing the songs you want. Woo. Its cool lar.

I am sure going to persevere learning this!!

Falling asleep

Had data communication today. Learnt about application protocols like HTTP,FTP,DHCP,SMTP and transport protocols like the TCP and UDP.

This module is always learning about network system. =.= How "interesting". The word 'protocol' had been heard from Week 1 till now. It was sure to do with protocols. I wonder what this module equips me with.

Alright, i learnt about network system, how it function, what type of communication, different types of protocols, the IP addresses like subnet mark, how to ping IP addresses connecting to hubs/switch, which one is better and why .. blah, blah during the past few weeks.

Then how to apply in daily life?

Perhaps, i think this module taught me about the required skills when i really entered IT industry that got to do with PROTOCOLS. Ohhh.....how sad. If only my job is to repair simple stuffs liike virus or what, not doing anything with protocols, programming. . .

Just now, sis brought cake for my bro from Secret Recipe. Sang happybirthday song. Hahaha.

YEC Night Cycling

Went night cycling for the YEC event. Helpers not enough so went to help out.

Wow. first time night cycling.with a group of people. in the parks, roads.

From 9.30 pm plus to 4am plus. Forgotten how many kilometers. There are breaks in between and we went changi village to eat in one of our breaks. Lol. Ate some wantons and drank 100 plus.

I don't know how to change the gear according to the slopes and got injured while cycling up a path. Zz. Knock onto the a stone barrier. =.= Pain lar. Ya. Now my leg very colourful. Got blue, got black, got purple, got red, got magenta. Nice.=.='' And its pain to rub.T.T

Reached home at 5am, bath and slept at 5.30am. Woke up in the noon, and found out i slept for 10 hours! Body was aching and bruises were as pain as before.

Checked my weight and wooo, i think i lost 2 Kg or 3 Kg !! LOl. Cool~

I want go cycle every week liao. can lose weight!

But then, hmmmm.. would i preserve?

Did database today and found it quite easy understand and do than last week X100 times. Lol. Learnt new aggregate functions like having clause, date/time, InStr, SubStr all that.

NO! I remembered something
There's one big thing that happened today morning!
I was forcing myself not to sleep in the bus in the morning so as not to knock on the windows.
And who knows, as i force myself, i slept suddenly and then banged on the windows real hard that i woke up immediately. Omg.

This is so terrible lar! Last time i banged on windows so many times, still, i never wake up and continue in my lala land. Today was really the worst of the worst.Impact was " WOW!" Think is the hardest liao=.= Somemore today i changed seats to the left hand corner, unlike last time where i always sat on the right hand corner.

WAH.BEST.

My head really bursting liao=.=

School day tmr.

School tomorrow.

Turning in.

Nothing better to do today and hence practice singing songs for almost half a day. HAhaha.

Sleepy. so nice to sleep on my sis bed just now.Just woke up.but then sleeping soon. Tired.=(

Nothing special happened today except that i had attended a good talk about a marketing manager in HP which was once a poly grad.

At first, i thought that marketing was all about Mathematics. But then as the speaker spoke , i realised is something like "strategic planning" on how you want to sell your product.

For example, If I were to invent and sell a product, I would have to think about whether people will buy my product (like is it useful anot).I could not just invent and sell the product on whoever I like without checking the market demand. With that, it would ensure people buying my products and not dying off suddenly like Mini Disc.

And if I have a product to sell and the market demand is high, I should make some market research and focus on my target audience. After focusing, I should find out more about what my customers want, and then set out to meet their needs, provided it can be done at a profit. With that, I can then come out with promotions and advertising to attract my customers. And of course, while attracting the customers, I should retain my customers by giving them good service to encourage my customers to continue using my products.

Sounds fun and challenging. Ya. Sounds only, when really face this problems, sure harder like stone.=.=

The success of the poly graduate makes me feel that having a diploma is not as bad as I thought. With a diploma, she could still found a job as a marketing manager in HP. Not only that, I was amazed that she took electrical engineering at first, switching to media and then to marketing which lead her to a good career and prospects in the end.

Oh "yes", School re-"close" AGAIN.=.=

Two weeks of holidays just passed like a strike of lighting. So fun*=.=

Went school in the morning without yuzhen. Message her like 5 times. Woo, someone overslept hor and pon school for the 1st time ah. Orh horr, i am gonna to tell that to your parents! Lol. jk~

So yup, today was JAVA. What theeeee... More fun* lar.

Java was as difficult as before, always challenging to fight. Learnt new terms like extends, inheritance, null, super.

Funny scenario after school.
-Was raining really HEAVILY.=(
-Almi brought umbrella, intending to walk to the interchange with it.
-But then, i was abit reluctant. Cos raining, somemore raining heavily.
-Tell them i wanted take bus, but Almi dont want.
-Then too bad, i got concession, and now raining horses,zebras, snakes. So we walked to the shelter, intending to go on separate ways.
-And while walking to the shelter, suddenly the wind became strong and it blew the rain water on all of the students who are trying to walk up the shelter. Really STRONG gush of wind.
-All of us got wet!=.=
-The funny part is that she was saying she got umbrella, wont drench want.
-And in the end, i say "walau, you see, you got umbrella still drenched."*HAHAHA*
-She too agree with me and said the same.
-But still, she stick to walking, saying the bus queue is long (FYI, i waited less than 10 minutes for the bus. Lol. Nice walking in the rain right, you all? haha)

Yup. thats about it. hahaaha.

And hey, tomorrow is Tuesday.

This movie haven't starred yet, caught the sneak preview. I guess it will be starring soon bah.

Anyway, the movie director for this movie is Stephen Chow and another guy. Ya..great name? By the name of itself, you thought it will be a very good movie.

Unexpectedly, although it was directed by Stephen Chow, it was not as good as you think. Lol. It was like using the same plot of Kungfu Hustle. Feeling lar. There were usual actors like Lam Chi Chung, Kai Man Tin return from the original film and Kitty Zhang from CJ7[长江七号]. The other actors were Japanese. Think quite well known in Japan.

Language used for the whole show is of course JAPANESE. Woo..all the way read subtitles. LOl. Even the usual actors also speak Japanese wor. But sometimes they speak Cantonese.

Movie lasted for like 135 minutes, 2 hours plus. Wahhh.. abit draggyy~Feel that this movie is watchable not to the extent is a must watch. The MUST-WATCH one should be Don't mess with Zohan, Incredible Hulk..blah blah. Think would be much much betttter.

But never less, you can try watch too. No harm de mah, at the most, waste money only.Lol.

Dont know type what review for this movie. Not funny, not entertaining. . but then still watchable.

Perhaps maybe this is a Jap-language movie, i have to keep seeing the subtitles to understand. Perhaps, there are Jap actors which i never seen before.
Perhaps, the movie is draggy.
Perhaps. . . .

My dad brought a Lenovo laptop for RC, and ya, and i didnt buy anything.=.=

Actually nothing to buy too, no hot deals to consider. And if got good deals, it should be a WANT and not a NEED. SIgh. Why waste money on that right?Tsk, tsk. So in the end never buy. Actually want buy mp4 for the price of $129, 2GB. LOl. Its a WANT. And its TEMPTING. So stupid right, got mp3 still want mp4, what the heck. Lucky i quickly see and walk away thinking very light, easy to spoil. And guess what , i kept looking at the brochure like studying for some major exams like that.

Okay, so never buy. Is a WANT not a NEED.

Went K box today and sing our hearts out! Woo. Guessed everyone enjoyed ourselves.Haha..=)

We booked in at about 1.50PM plus and we were told to end at 5PM.=.=. It seems that KBOX has changed the timing. The person-in-charge tells us that if you never book earlier, you will not get an additional 2 hours of singing. Sadded de lar. 2pm-5pm is like only 3 hours?!=.= Whereas 2pm-7pm is like 5 hours?! 2 hours more lar..zzzz

So we sang and sang. Thinking the person will come in at 5pm sharp, we quickly sang and "UP" the songs we want. As we quickly sang and "UP" the song, it was like 5 plus le AND the person DIDN'T COME to settle the bill with us.LOl. Since they never come in, and they took such a long time to refill the our sprite, we stayed there and sang, sensing that the person-in-charge might come in soonner or later.

SANG & SANG. Become 6pm plus.

The person come in and collect the bill.LOl. So we gave him the money and carried on SINGING. Wow~ And till 7 plus, the person come in and tell us the next song we singing would be the last song.Lol. Did they forget or what? They had the receipt which wrote 2pm-5pm. And still, they didn't come and rush us on when its 5 pm. Think should be a trainee who got wrong about the timings as the website also wrote 2pm-7pm lar.=.=. Or maybe they didn't see. WAhaha. Then like that is 赚到! Lol.

After singing, ate BK for dinner. Then took some pics, see the so-called largest fountain, the dancing waters inside shopping center( that one lor, follow the music dance. I know you know.) After that, took MRT home.Lol.

Overall, today is a great day where we enjoyed singingg for the half of the day and took pics. Haha. I want sing againnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.lol

What weather?!

Went Sim Lim Square today and brought the 2GB memory ram.Woo, now become 3GB le. Application loads faster than before.=)

Wahh.On the way there, the weather is damn hot!Omg.=.= Somemore carry the laptop bag with laptop,charger, handphone, wallet, mp3 player, ezlink card and comb. I know.. ezlink card and comb doesn't make huge difference but then it still makes!=.=

Was quite empty in Sim Lim Square, probably because of weekdays. Went up to the shop, hoping that the salesman i want would be there, but then, to my disappointment, he was not there! Ah!=.=So let another person do and found out that he is a RP student, 3rd year. Lol. Feel that his service not good de lei. like got touch the metal thing on the Memory Ram which is NOT supposed to at all lar.=(

But then, still can work. When i leave the shop, i tried again on my own, then i saw a Blue Screen message something about Dumping Physical Memory 1%..50%. .74%.. 100%.Omg. I panicked. But then i couldnt do anything as the batt FAILED me completely. Ya. After install windows vista, fully charge battery cannot last for even 20 minutes. Batttttery spoil?Vista faultt??=.=

So went home try, google it, found out alot things.=.= Luckily, the error message did not come back again as my bro say is like when new hardware is added in, the system will have to take some time to "stabilise" it. Heng ah.Or else, i sure go there and ask the person to replace me one NEW one. Scarli make my whole system spoil.i gonna fireeeeeee at them lar.=.=

Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3

Went to changi airport , Terminal 3 just now to celebrate early Father's day. Terminal 3 was the newly open terminal. Didn't expected so many people gathering there just for fun. You see no luggages, just people dining and walking around with a look of spaciousness in Terminal 3. Wow, cant believe i am in Singapore! The whole place was excellent.=) If you haven't go, i suggest you go. There are restaurants, shopping centers etc. WOo. A paradise of good atmosphere, good dining and good shopping.Lol.

Shared present with my bro. Its a Casio watch! With no "second hand" moving, but the time still worked. I dont know how to describe.=.= It was said to be now the latest trend? Yeah?

Lorry spolied suddenly and we took Bus 24 home. Lol. Never bring EZ link card somemore. In the end, my bro in law pay for us.Hahaha.

Kung Fu Panda !

WHA TAAAA~

Went to Bugis and watch Kung Fu Panda. Had heard many people said its nice.Yup. I also think so. Lol. It was especially funny in the middle part , which is the climax.

Short review of the movie(not much of spoilers) :

The introduction was quite okay, not to the extent you will laugh your hearts out. As already said, its introduction. But still, can be laughable if you feel like laughing. Like the part especially the film showed Po have to climb up the supposingly more than 9,000 stairs to the top. Lol. And he tried means to see the Furious Five(Master Tigress, Master Mantis ,Master Monkey, Master Crane, Master Viper).

Master ��~"Er..nice to meet you all?"

The most most funny part in the whole film was that when Master Tigress was telling the childhood story of Tai Lung seriously, when suddenly, Po shows a funny face like this ,=P, but very exaggerating.Master Tigress was so angry that she scolded PO for not being attentive , only to find out that it was Master Mantis who hit on the wrong acupuncture.LOL. The whole of the cinema was HAHAHA-ing all the way lar. I swear is FUNNY lar!

Another funny part is that when Po was at the kitchen and he secretly ate the cookies and got found out by Master Shifu. Lol. You can see his face and mouth lar. The mouth was FULL of cookies, with crumbs of cookies dropping. And the face was in shocked manner like O.O Funny lar. And then when Master Shifu told him that Master Monkey hides cookies at the top of the cabinet, he quickly climbs up and eat, only to find out that Master Shifu was below him seeing him ate.Lol.

The scene where Master Shifu trains Po is also quite funny, especially the Pao part. You know what i mean when you watched it.

And ya! Did you notice how they named the characters;"Tigress, Mantis , Monkey, Crane, Viper,Tortoise, Panda. Lol. It was so rare to name those characters as their real breed lar. You understand? Normally, you will see the movie naming characters fake names such as John, Peter, Lily all that. Wow, a breakthrough of normal calling names man. Lol. And did you notice they called Master tortoise as ��~ Master Shifu as ��~ , and Tai-Lung as ��~ in a very chinese-accent tone? LOl~

Other than that, I think the whole movie is quite nice to watch. Quotable quotes like, "Yesterday is a history, tomorrow is a mystery, and hence today is called the present", "Believe in yourself", "Nothing is impossible". Think and reflect. I think there are still some but i had forgotten. Ah.."there are no special ingredients." -.-''

I didnt notice it was Jack Black(the lead actor in School of Rock) who voice-dubbed Po, Angeline Jolie(You know, the one with Brad Pitt) who voice-dubbed Master Tigress, Jackie Chan(Recent movie, The Forbidden Kingdom as Drunken Immortal)who voice-dubbed Master Monkey and Lucy Liu(Charlie Angels.No?) who voice-dubbed Master Viper.

I knew last time, before the movie was starred, they were the one who voice-dubbed the characters. But then I really didn't notice the voice of them lar.DIAO.=.='' Omg. TOO ENGROSSED in the movie. There are still other actors, but think they not famous bah. Or else i sure know them.LOl.=.=

Hmm..you guys remember one thing that Master Tortoise say one thing that Po have and the others don't have is what? It is. . . . . . . Po's fats! Hahaha.Bk say one! Quite true wor! It was Po's fats that defeated Tai-Lung.hahahaha.
